The story of Sandra's Bunco Buddies:

"We are a group of 12 ladies that have played bunco together since our children were small. We now have grandchildren the ages of our children when we started this group. In December before our monthly bunco game, we each received a call from one of our bunco buddies. She told us each individually that she had been diagnosed with breast cancer and had a double mastectomy scheduled for January. We knew that making those 11 phone calls to each of us was not only hard, but also very brave. She had to explain it 11 times and go through all the emotion that each of those conversations brought.

We wanted to do something special, so we purchased the "Angel Bell". When we gave it to her we wanted her to know that whenever she heard that bell ring, we were praying for her. She has worn that bell through her surgery and chemotherapy treatments. It not only has given her strength, but all of her bunco buddies the strength to support her and go through this with her.
